WIMBLEDON LONDON, UK. 3 Oct, 2021. A Shell petrol filling station in Wimbledon, South West London has closed due to the fuel supply crisis caused by the lack of HGV lorry drivers. The government has announced the military drivers will be deployed from Monday 4th October to deliver fuel to forecourts and ease the shortage to avoid a tough winter ahead.
