1960s, historical photo of some primary school children standing at the entrance to the Model Village in White Rock Gardens, Hastings, E. Sussex, England, UK. Designed by Stanley Deboo and opened in 1955, the village was constructed by Benjamin White, following the successful village he had bult in Ramsgate. The model village in Hastings was named 'Ganymeade' and featured small scale reproductions of many Sussex buildings. Although popular, it was removed in 1998 due to vandalism issues.
