A forklift truck delivers the load of UNHCR aid boxes from Holland and the EEC that have just arrived. On the right is a pallet loaded with cans of Kronenbourg beer. During the Bosnian War 1992-1995, the United Nations primarily supplied the besieged city with constant daily airlifts. Occasionally, Serb shelling and gunfire meant the airport would be shut down for a few days.
