OVERSEAS USE ONLY: Soldiers from the Black Watch Battle group, cover ground near their foward operating base "Springfield" on the east bank of the Euphrates river, 25 miles south of Baghdad. A Black Watch soldier was injured today in a mortar attack on the Camp Dogwood base, the Ministry of Defence confirmed today. The MoD said the injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. "A mortar landed inside the compound earlier today, injuring a soldier," said a spokesman. "We do not believe the soldier has life-threatening injuries."
