Nov 06, 2006; Imbituba, Santa Catarina, BRAZIL; Fosters Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Men's World Tour, Nova Schin Festival presented by Billabong, Imbituba, Santa Catarina, Brasil. Oct 3- Nov 08, 2006. Hawaiian FREDERICK PATACCHIA (North Shore, Oahu) (pictured) may have had 5 days of no competative surfing but that didnÕt show when round two of the Nova Schin Festival presented by Billabong in Imbituba, Santa Catarina, Brasil restarted today. Patacchia, who is on the borderline for requalification eliminated Pedro Henrique, one of the few Brasilians left in the event to advance into round three. Henrique leaves the event in equal 33rd position. The Nova Schin Festival, presented by Billabong is the 10th of 11 stops on the 2006 Foster's Men's ASP World Tour and is South America's sole top tier tour event. The event will be staged in Imbituba, a punchy beach break offering left and right breaking waves, it is open to swell and will serve quality waves to 40 of the top 45 surfers and 3 wildcards.
