Brasilan ADRIANO DE SOUZA (Sao Paulo) (pictured) could relate his performance in round three of the Nova Schin Festival presented by Billabong in Imbituba, Santa Catarina, Brasil to the days weather. Patacchia put De Souza in a combination situation requiring a two wave total of 16.84 in order to remain in the event. De Souza leaves the event in equal 17th position while Patacchia advanced into round four where he will face alternate surfer, Brasilian Odirlei Coutinho. The Nova Schin Festival, presented by Billabong is the 10th of 11 stops on the 2006 Foster's Men's ASP World Tour and is South America's sole top tier tour event. The event will be staged in Imbituba, a punchy beach break offering left and right breaking waves, it is open to swell and will serve quality waves to 40 of the top 45 surfers and 3 wildcards.
